More Information about You Give = We Give

What made me decide create You Give = We Give?

The You Give = We Give event’s primary focus is placing a book into the hands of a stranger, into the hands of someone who may not be able to afford it or perhaps hasn’t got access to one. I want to brighten the smiles on as many faces every Christmas by placing a book into the hands of those in need, because developing a love of reading really does open many doors, whether that be writing their own story or becoming an illustrator or even becoming a reviewer like myself. A novel or picture book takes the reader into another word and has the ability to open someone’s eyes and spark a fire of brilliance into anyone’s imagination.
Where are the donations donated?
The Kmart Tree is partnered with the Salvation Army:
"Our sole charity partner, The Salvation Army, rely heavily on the Appeal to service the needs of their clients, with hundreds and thousands of people expected to need the support of the Salvos this festive season."

If you would like to donate and get involved in the weekly donating (posting each Friday what you have donated to this event):
You can donate via the PayPal donation Button on the right side bar - Please leave a message below that you have donated so that the next Show N' Tell Post can showcase what has been purchased with the $$$ donation and who (you) has donated to the event.
